Intro
“Come on, man. Let’s get out of here!” Jeremiah pleaded to his friend Don.
“It’s not even going to get close to us, you heard the news!” replied Don.
“The news could be wrong! They can’t predict whether it’s going to rain or snow! What makes you think they’re going to get where this comet strikes right?”
“NASA probably predicts this kind of thing and relays it to local weather stations.”
The two teens stood in the darkness of the cemetery, located directly behind Jeremiah’s grandfather’s house, staring at the amazing ball of fire racing across the midnight sky.
