Tuesday Morning Tailback’s
2012 “No BS” Challenge
Contest is now closed. Thanks to those who participated.
Welcome to the initial Tuesday Morning Tailback article of the 2012 NFL season! This is our third season of providing critical editorials on the state of the National Football League, covering a diverse range of relevant subjects on a weekly basis.
Once again, to kick off the season, we are launching special challenge to readers to forecast who they think will be the 8 Division Champions at the end of this regular season (December 31, 2012). If you participate in this free contest and accurately predict all 8 regular season division champions for the 2012 season, you will receive $50 from us – no BS!
We do this not only to spark interest among readers, but to have a bit of fun and demonstrate how difficult it is to accurately make predictions. Every year we get the “so called expert” predictions on who will place where and, inevitably, these experts fail to see the upcoming teams that will buck the system and creep up to the top. We covered this topic in a past article called Predictions, Predictions. Again this year, we’ll give everyone a free chance to show their forecasting skills and offer a monetary prize to anyone and everyone who got it right – no BS!
To participate, simply enter your name, your email, and (in the ‘comment’ section) your 8 choices for Division champions, one from each NFL division listed below. Your name and picks will be displayed publically but your email will not. There is only one entry per person and we reserve the right to reject any entries that are suspect or limit the overall number participants. Please make sure your email is valid, as we will use it to contact you and ask you where to send the check if you got all 8 teams right – no BS!
Here are the 32 NFL teams listed by division. They are listed here in alphabetical order, not in any order of prediction:

The 2012 contest will close promptly at 11:59pm on Sunday, September 2nd, so get your picks in soon!
Next Tuesday, during our official season preview, we’ll offer our own division picks and compare/contrast ours to the consensus for each division from your entries. See you then!

Tuesday Morning Tailback is a weekly article during football season which take a critical look at the NFL. We do this from the base belief that NFL football is the greatest game in the history of mankind, but some recent policies and the overall direction of the league has chipped away at this greatness. Our primary goal is to spark debate on these subjects, so please leave your own opinion on this article in the comment box below.
